The Collaborative Conference is an annual event which is jointly planned and implemented by the Missouri Council of Administrators of Special Education (MO-CASE); the Missouri Council for Exceptional Children (MO-CEC); the Missouri Association of School Psychologists (MASP); and the University of Missouri Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders.  The Missouri Speech-Language and Hearing Association (MSHA) also contributes to the conference.  The intent is to provide an opportunity to learn with colleagues about evidenced based and high leveraged practices within a Multi-tier System of Supports (MTSS) which increase the likelihood of positive educational outcomes for all students, particularly those with special needs.  It is targeted to all who are involved with instruction and intervention from pre-K through grade 12, including teachers, special education teachers, related service providers, specialists, coordinators, principals, and district-level administrators.   NOTE:  REFUNDS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED UNLESS CANCELLATIONS ARE RECEIVED IN WRITING ON OR BEFORE FEBRUARY 16, 2020.  A $25 PROCESSING FEE WILL BE CHARGED FOR ALL REFUNDS.

We have two keynote speakers this year.  Our Day 1 Keynote is Dan St. Romain, who is a national educational consultant who provides staff development and consultative services to educators K-12.  He is passionate about helping individuals shift their perspective on behavior, understanding the best ways to provide support given the challenges posed in today's society.  He regularly presents on topics impacting school climate, brain-based instruction, developmentally appropriate educational practices and presentation skills.

Our Day 2 Keynote is Dr. Tim Lewis, who has been involved in developing school-wide systems of behavioral support for over 20 years.  He has worked directly with school teams around the world, secured over $38 million in grants to support his research and demonstration efforts, and is a frequent contributor to the professional literature examining various aspects of positive behavior.

The MO-CASE Law Conference is held annually, in partnership with the law firm of Thomeczek & Brink, LLC.

Payment must be received PRIOR to conference attendance.  Please pay by credit card or a check may be mailed to 3550 Amazonas Drive, Jefferson City MO 65109.  Purchase orders are not accepted.  Cancellations will be allowed if sent in writing (email) by February 17, 2020.  No cancellations will be accepted after that date.
